SCHOLARSHIPS for Young Actors ages 8-10, interested in acting (Los Angeles)


The Young Actors at Strasberg at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is seeking applicants for a two-week summer-intensive for children. The program offers classes in acting, camera, musical video, improvisation, and creative movement. A limited number of scholarships are currently available. Maxine Fields, program dir. Classes take place July 25-Aug. 5 from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Mon.-Fri., in L.A.

Seeking—Young Actors: boys & girls, ages 8-10, interested in acting.

Interviews will be held by appt. on July 15 from 1:30-3:30 p.m in L.A. To schedule an appointment, email maxine@strasberg.com or call (323) 650-7777. For the auditions, bring a recent photo of your child. For more info about the Young Actors at Strasberg program, visit www.strasberg.com. If chosen for the scholarship, the full $925 of tuition will be covered; however, scholarship recipients will still need to pay a $150 registration fee if accepted. If you are not chosen for a scholarship, spots in the program may still be available at the regular $925 rate. Additional classes are also available at various times of the year for other lengths of time, courses of study, and age-ranges, in both NYC and L.A.; prices vary depending on the program you choose.
