'Teach Me How To Dougie' Rapper DEAD: Cali Swag District's M-Bone Shot To Death Sunday Night

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — M-Bone of the rap group Cali Swag District, which scored a
hit last year with the song "Teach Me How to Dougie," was killed in a weekend
drive-by shooting as he sat in a car outside a liquor store, police said Monday.

The 22-year-old Inglewood man, whose real name is Mante Ray Talbert, was sitting
in the driver's seat of his car shortly after 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

"Another car pulled alongside, gunshots were fired, and the victim was struck
twice in the head," Lt. James Madia said. A man sitting in the passenger seat of
Talbert's car was not injured, Lt. Gabriel Garcia said.

Talbert was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Lt. Steve Overly said the motive for the attack was under investigation. Several
theories have been put forward on social media sites and detectives were
following up on some of those to see if they were credible, he said.

Talbert was "the victim of a random act of violence," Cali Swag District's
publicist Greg Miller said in a statement.

"He was a hardworking, passionate artist and dancer that will be deeply missed,"
Miller said.

Witnesses gave varying descriptions of the fleeing car, Madia said.

Bandmate C-Smoove tweeted Monday that his life changed drastically in the blink
of an eye, and added "rip mbone."

"He was the life of the group," C-Smoove told KABC-TV as he wiped away tears
with his shirt. "He made us laugh, he was the energy."

Dozens of friends, fans and family members gathered outside the liquor store
Monday evening and held a vigil for Talbert.

Cali Swag District's hit "Teach Me How to Dougie" is based on the "Dougie"
dance, which first appeared in Texas and is noted for its leaning stances,
shoulder and arm movements.

The dance was not only performed in dance clubs and the streets but by
celebrities as well, from Wolf Blitzer to Washington Wizards star John Wall;
even first lady Michelle Obama recently performed the dance as part of her
"Let's Move" initiative.

"Teach Me How to Dougie" spent several months in the top 10 of Billboard's hot
rap songs. The group also performed the dance on several television shows.

(L-R) Rappers M-Bone, C-Smoove, JayAre and Yung of Cali Swag District attend an
evening with Chrysler and Fiat held at Chrysler Motor Village on Nov. 16, 2010
in Los Angeles.

Gary Coleman Still Hasn’t Been Buried

SERIOUSLY? This is disappointing!! May God rest his soul.

Nearly a year after his death, 80′s child starGary Coleman still hasn’t been buried. Vic Perillo, Coleman’s former manager, claims that the burial has been delayed due to legal wrangling between Coleman’s widow and his parents.

“This was not the proper and dignified manner to show respect for the magnificent talent the world TV and film audience knew in Gary Coleman,” Perillo wrote in a letter sent to the media. “This was not the send off he deserved.”

Coleman died on May 28th, 2010, two days after suffering a fall at his home.

Perillo adds, “Unfortunately we learn of the great works and noble deeds of a person upon their death and at their memorial. Gary’s deeds and contributions to the entertainment industry and other endeavours were overshadowed by the desire of the media to stay focused on the misfortunes of his life and all the negatives.

“Gary’s downfall was not entirely of his own doing. He had help. There exist within the film and television industry those who make up the body of the Peripheral Industry. The new age life coaches to the stars, the managers and consultants, who have categorically destroyed the lives and careers of many performers. Gary Coleman was a victim of the Peripheral Industry, not of his parents.

“On this, the first anniversary of his death, I have contacted the three major (U.S. TV) networks, asking them to honour Gary, his eight years on Diff’rent Strokes, his seven movies of the week, his work as a spokesman with the National Kidney foundation and the many charitable endeavours he gave of his time and effort to.

“The answer from the networks were, ‘Not interested,’ ‘We don’t have any time’ and ‘We pass…’ To praise his work, talent and his person is of little interest to them. And yet, should his ex-wife, Shannon Price, or (Diff’rent Strokes co-star) Todd Bridges make a statement condemning his parents, they are given Carte Blanch time in the press. Have we lost our theatrical moral conscience?”

Osama Bin Laden's death a hoax???? Look at picture

I normally don't like posting anything political (other than breaking news....if that.)
Last night, everyone was so excited that mass murderer, Osama Bin Laden was killed by the USA. I wasn't as "excited" as everyone else & I didn't "celebrate"- I guess I was just more relieved than anything else.

Anyways, I woke up today and received an email about a forum posting titled 'US CLAIMS OF KILLING OSAMA BIN LADEN - ANOTHER HOAX - PROOF' and the forum posting provided this picture as proof:

I'm looking at the picture like, "Dang, that's messed up." and "Who in the world does their research so thorough that they would even be able to locate these pictures to match? And find it THIS FAST!" Anyways, I dont know what to think of everything...if it is a hoax, I'm sure the hungry reporters will get to the truth. I just wanted to share this photo with you guys.

You can find the story by [clicking here] You have to be a member to read it but it just pretty much recaps on the news yesterday and has a few sentences by the author saying its a hoax and conspiracy.
