Hello again to all of our Friends, Families, Buisness Associates, Supporters, Sponsors, and clients. Whew, that was a mouth-full! I hope we find you in 2012 to be healthy, prosperous, and happy. Dress of My Dreams, for those that do not know, is an organization that was formed not only to provide items for a young lady's most special day, we also try to be big sisters and help bridge the gap for these young ladies on their journey from teens to young adult women. It is time again for our Annual Pre-Prom Preview and we are excited as ever to be able to give back to our community this year in the form of our annual prom dress giveaway. The calls and emails are coming in and we are making our lists and checking them twice! If you have a daughter, relative, friend of a friend, church member, girl scout, etc going to a prom or formal event this year, this event is for them. We do our best to provide dresses for ANY young lady in need of our services or one that just wants to save some cash. So, please feel free to pass along our information, share while social networking, tell Your friends and family, churches, schools, social workers, and guidance counselors. Thank you.

Prom dress giveaway is Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Decatur library.

The Decatur Library is at:
215 Sycamore Street Decatur, GA 30030
11am - 3pm downstairs in the meeting room.

"""""""""""""""""""Registration is recommended"""""""""""""""""""
This is the day young ladies will come with a parent / guardian to pick out / reserve the Dress of Their Dreams. If needed, we will have the dress cleaned and ready for pick up at our Health & Personal safety discussion day, (TBD) prior to their respective prom nights. Discussion day is just that, a day for reflection and discussion. This is a mandatory event for ALL of our clients. This is the day that dresses are picked up and we all come together for our Health & Personal safety talks. This year, topics will include, but are not limited to: the obvious, (personal health & safety) but we will also discuss financial health & cyber safety, financial aid, healthy relationships, and goals. This is also where each individual young lady will make her Dream board. Dream boards are positive reinforcements of who they are. They will list their strengths, what they want for their life, and give some positive word to describe themselves. These are presented to the group when they are finished. We will serve light refreshments for discussion day.

Vendor / Sponsor opportunity

In March 2012, Dress of My Dreams will have its annual Prom Dress Giveaway and Mentor discussion day at the Decatur Library in Decatur, GA. The event will feature guest speakers, a silent auction, food, and entertainment. Our guests will include teachers, guidance counselors, principals, supporters, parents, clients, and volunteers. Discussion day is the time we take to address Financial, Personal, and Internet health and safety.
As a sponsor, you help us continue our mission. With designated funds, we are able to rent office space and event halls. We are able to cover the cost of fundraising, advertising and marketing. These funds will also enable us to cover the costs of alterations, replacement of items, and purchasing items needed, such as larger size gowns that are harder to come by.
As founder of Dress of my dreams, I ask that you please join us and become a sponsor. For more information about how to become a sponsor, please email us at: email@dressofmydreams.org
