MASTERCHEF IS HUNGRY FOR MORE!
The MasterChef judges are once again giving you the chance to show America your culinary skills!
The winner receives a large cash prize and the title of MasterChef! If you think you are the next MasterChef, bring your besthome cooked dish to a city near you!
If you love to cook and have always wanted to be a contestant on one of those cool cooking television shows – NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!
On Saturday November 12th in Atlanta and Saturday November 19th in Savannah “Master Chef Season 3” will be holding open auditions.
The show focuses on home cooks, self taught cooks, and amateurs. This is not the show for professional cooks or chefs.
If you plan on auditioning you have to bring a prepared dish with you because there will be no live cooking in front of judges. Once there each person will be given three minutes to plate it and professional food judges will try it. Show officials tell us that they understand the dish may not be hot after traveling from Albany, however they can still judge the dish.
Fox 31 News spoke with Casting Producer Erin Thomasello to ask why cooks from Southwest Georgia should make the trek to Atlanta or Savannah to audition for “Master Chef Season 3”. “We think it’s worth the drive because first we will give you priority. You can move to the front of the line if you can prove you’re from Southwest Georgia. This show is really about someone that didn’t get to pursue their dream or has always had a love for cooking” says Thomasello.
